The Betsy Hotel Pros

The Betsy Pet Friendly Hotel is a iconic landmark colonial-inspired Art Deco Hotel located on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach that dates back to 1949. It is a favorite Hotel for travelers with it’s easy access to Ocean Drive Clubs, Bars, Restaurants, Shopping and direct access to Miami Beach. The Hotel has a Rooftop Pool with panoramic views of Miami Beach. Enjoy exceptional dining with LT Steakhouse award winning steaks, Seafood and Raw Bar. Unlike many South Beach Hotels, the Betsy is known for it’s quiet atmosphere boutique hotel experience. The Hotel has lush tropical courtyard seating area and courtyard pool. Check out the Piano Bar with Live Jazz, and enjoy poolside food and drinks, and The Alley for hand-stretched pizzas. 

The Betsy Hotel Cons

Pricing for Guest Rooms and Suites tends to be on the higher end, and may not be suitable for budget travellers especially during peak seasons. There are additional fees like Valey parking, Resort Fees, Beach Chairs etc. The Pool areas are not as large as other hotels, and can get quite busy especially on weekends. Ther is limited nightlife at the Hotel, however there are lots of choices for local pubs, bars and clubs nearby. The hotel does not have a luxurious spa on-site, however there is a 24 hour Fitness room with Two Peloton Bikes, and Sunrise Yoga at the Rooftop Pool each morning. Some guests have mentioned noisy air conditioning units, you may want to request that you stay in a room that does not have a noisy air conditioner. Some guest rooms are facing inward with views of other hotel rooms and the courtyard pool area, so make sure you check that the guest rooms offer the view of your liking.
